Sounds important, right. Well it really is very simple. Only three (3) IC's. Easy to add to your PK-232 or KAM. Results - eliminates retries on local RomNet connects. - reduces QRM - eliminate your TXdelay or AXHang delays - eliminates squelch delays - run it wide open - reduces TNC input level problems Want more info download STATECD.ARC or better yet get a DDCD circuit from TAPR and add it to you TNC. We had to run the AXH at 50 for NetROM connections. The DDCD circuit now lets us run at AXH 0. Retries on local connects almost eliminated. Transceiver no longer sensitive to input level. We picked up 1/2 second on each packet.. Runs like a grease pig. Thanks and an "ATTABOY" goes to N7CL for this fine circuit. You will think you got a new receiver. We added it to a KAM. Problems: tight fit.... and the DCD wire is yellow not green.... And it works great and the cost was only $17.50 including postage for the kit.
