VOICE ANSWER BACK FUNCTION
OPTION UT-66 AND UT-55 ARE NECESSARY 
 
1.   The radio needs to be switched to sub band remote mode.  
2.   Operating frequency of main band will be announced from sub
     band transmitted by sending remote control code of "D" "C". 
3.   During this answer back operation, main and sub bands were
     swapped but as soon as answer back has been done, it will be
     resumed.  The radio main band will be the talk band.  The
     radio sub band will be the band the HT controls and talks
     on.  
 
to enter       EXTERNAL DTMF REMOTE control press B password #
                                        default   B000#
 
     -    XBAND REPEAT ON     HOLD (BAND) & (SET) UNTIL FLASHING
                              "L"
     -    XBAND REPEAT OFF    PUSH SET
     -    REMOTE XBAND ON     PUSH "D" THEN "B" THEN "*" ON
          KEYPAD              REMOTE DTMF
     -    REMOTE XBAND OFF    ENTER B password # OR B000# DEFAULT
     -    REMOTE SUB BAND     PUSH "D" THEN "C" ON REMOTE DTMF
          VOICE READBACK      KEYPAD
 
to exit EXTERNAL DTMF REMOTE control be sure that remote XBAND is
off B password # and press B password *    default    B000*
 
NOTE:     Please note that remote XBAND must be off to control
          all transceiver functions including voice readback.
