Subject: Diamond MX-72H SWR jumps

Hello all,

I just fixed an intermitent SWR problem in a Diamond MX-72H duplexer.
I found one of the coils inside was only tacked to the board by a blob
of flux instead of soldered..
The symtoms of a problem was a SWR of 1.6 then 10:1 on the 2 meter port
and 4:1 on the 440 side. The antenna Diamond X-500 read 1.3:1 and 1.2:1
without the duplexer..
Opening the duplexer sure saved the job of climbing the tower to check the
antenna first..
