In clipping off the resistor leads DO NOT clip the 10 k resistor
lead at PIN 4. clip all other lead but that one. Bend PIN 4's lead
frm the 10 k resistor down the side of the header and without 
touching any other pins (5 & 6) solder the end of the pin 4
10 k resistor to PIN 7 at the 38.2 K resistor. Turn the
header over and clip the PIN 4 off close to the header base.
Install this into U30 and the above into U34.
Calibrate as follows:
CAL:1/1152 
CAL:2/1024
CAL:3
use the same procedure as in the TAPR installion alinement instructions
in the manual where the leds ALTERNATE in equal brightness to 
get an error count of 0 ... You will then be on the air...
Tuning is EXTREMELY critical on the HF bands so be patient 
sometimes helps to set TRAC to $ffff anad monitor all frame
activity and then turn trac off and procede to packet. Radio 
must be stable & tunable to 10HZ increments. Most digitally 
systhesized rigs today have 10 hrtz steps but dont display ot
